How long have you been in the choir?

This is my 4th year

What’s your favorite PFLC song?

I love all our originals – Floodplain, Expiration, We Can Be – it’s really amazing the amount of talent in this choir!

What’s your favorite thing about being in this choir?

Being a part of a community of amazing women and creating music together.  We also eat very, very well.

What do you like to do outside of choir?

Social work, yoga, walking, hiking, going to the beach, anything FUN (fairs, rollercoasters, ziplining, canoeing, you name it and I’ll do it – I’m a bit of a thrill seeker!)

Who are your favorite local bands/musicians?

Dessa, Doomtree, Aby Wolf, Ashley Gold, Toki Wright, Mason Jennings, Roe Family Singers, Danami, Caroline Smith, Chastity Brown, The Anatomy Of…(my brother’s singer-songwriter project – CHECK HIM OUT HE RULES AND I’M NOT JUST SAYING THAT BECAUSE HE’S MY BROTHER)

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

I’m not too fond of karaoke because I’m more comfortable singing with many voices but a friend and I love to sing “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson and once my husband and I sang “Zero” by the Smashing Pumpkins and were complimented heavily…it was weird.

Describe yourself in three words

Intelligent, earnest, warrior

If there was a movie about your life, who would play you?

Jennifer Lawrence?  That would be awesome.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A children’s mental health therapist and I’m really close to getting there!
